This is one of the early artifacts created at StringStudios.
Notice the record date of 4/10/77 in the upper right corner. This recording contained a typical and strange blend of music:
The Skyhooks were punkish rock band from down under. While big in Australia, they had little success in America. They were a forerunner to ACDC, who were successful here in the States. A Jacksonville (Florida) radio station had the Australian connection and was one of the first in the US to play Skyhooks, ACDC, and the Little River Band. The Little River Band once stated they considered Jacksonville their American hometown. Anyway the tape in the picture contains the Aussies Skyhooks and ACDC along with New Zealand musician J.D. Blackfoot and his amazing "Song of Crazy Horse" - an 18 minute tribute to the American Indians.
If that is a strange enough mix, I also threw in a couple of very NON-typical songs by Wings ("Magneto and Titanium Man") and "Renegade" by Michael Murphy. A Starcastle song, a couple of obscure Electric Light Orchestra songs, classic Pink Floyd and Grand Funk Railroad. Stuck in the middle is a Gino Vannelli and Santana (when he was still big for the first time).
look at the close up of cartridge bottom:

It reads "Produced at StringStudios. 77" The label was typed on a manual typewriter.
